Fascinating houses of Flagstaff, Arizona, USA by Molly Hare
Today, I was in orchestra playing Schubert’s “Unfinished Symphony” and marveling at incredibly long the piece was, and then thought back to what many a music teacher had told me, that “back in those days, there was really nothing better to do than go to symphonies.” This made me wonder if there WAS actually something better to do (because really, this song was getting very lengthy). I mean, what did all the poor people who could afford to go see symphonies do for fun? Which, in the end, made me conclude that people in the past were just, well, boring. Over time, you see, people got progressively more interesting until modern day, where we have the most interesting people yet. I mean think about it, more times than not, a younger person is bored by an older person, right? I don’t know, just thinking.
If this doesn’t get you pumped for the final Harry Potter, I don’t know what will.
